Subject: Ahhh Yes
Subject: I remember!
At the time, being a purist, I was somewhat alarmed by all the new tunes, many of which I was hearing for the first time. But many came to grow on me, especially the epic Standing on the Moon that the master, Jerry G, ripped at this show.
Special props to Robespierre for sporting the custom tie dyes for this one, I still have that shirt somewhere!
Subject: Hot, so hot!
The sound, from the taper section, chest pounding
crisp and clear.
The Other One: Brent feels late from Space break,
The boys drop kick a unified down beat, sort of
final call for Brent....he scampered on stage and drove like a wild man.
Wierd tape scene that day. Some tapers brought in huge double speaker boom boxes to record
the fm broadcast. Unnecessary footage land grab...
Shows were the peak of the 1990 shows.
Subject: HOT ! ! !
These shows really do feature Brent at his high point. Also, I will never forget "One more crazy crazy afternoon" during Feel Like a Stranger.
Subject: Terence & Tim
The song selection on these is excellent & I thought they played exceptionally well. It was hot & fun. KPFK was broadcasting it live & I think Healy was too. I like the sound on these. I have both audience & FM masters from these shows that sound about the same.
Subject: download both
